Professional Services Commercial Lead
ABOUT THE TEAM The DeployCo Deal Desk helps turn customer deployment opportunities into clear, executable professional-services engagements. We partner across Deployment, Sales, Legal, Finance, Technical Revenue, and Operations to ensure every deal has a well-defined scope, pricing aligned to approved guardrails, complete approvals, and a clean handoff to delivery. The team sits at the intersection of commercial execution and delivery readiness. We make complex services deals easier to buy—and easier to deliver—while strengthening the templates and workflows that help DeployCo scale. ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring a hands-on Professional Services Commercial Lead to own the end-to-end deal desk workflow for assigned DeployCo professional-services engagements. You will personally draft and revise statements of work (SOWs), validate pricing and deal inputs, coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals, and ensure commitments are clear, deliverable, and ready to execute. The differentiator in this role is drafting expertise: you have written SOWs, not simply routed them. You can turn technical and delivery inputs into precise scope, deliverables, milestones, assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria, fees, and change controls—then keep the deal moving. This is an individual-contributor role for an experienced contract manager, deal desk professional, or professional-services commercial operator who combines strong writing and commercial judgment with disciplined execution. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Own assigned DeployCo deals from intake through approval, signature, and operational handoff. - Draft and revise SOWs, work orders, and change orders using approved templates and playbooks; partner with Legal on non-standard contractual terms and redlines. - Validate rate cards, fees, hours and resourcing inputs, discounts, margin inputs, billing milestones, and key deal data against approved inputs and guardrails; reconcile the SOW to the quote and route exceptions with a clear recommendation. - Coordinate reviews and approvals across Deployment, Sales, Legal, Finance, Technical Revenue, Billing, and Order Management; surface gaps early and keep stakeholders aligned on next steps. - Identify and coordinate resolution of delivery and commercial risks, including unclear scope or acceptance criteria, infeasible commitments, scope creep, inconsistent documents, and downstream billing or revenue implications. - Maintain accurate deal records, approval evidence, and status updates; meet internal turnaround commitments and ensure a clean post-signature handoff. - Turn recurring issues into stronger templates, playbooks, approval paths, and workflow improvements that increase deal quality and speed. YOU MIGHT THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE: - Typically 7+ years of relevant B2B experience across deal desk, commercial contracts or contract management, professional-services operations, sales operations, order management, or a similar function. - 3+ years of substantial, hands-on experience drafting and revising customer-facing SOWs for professional-services engagements. - Experience operating pricing-validation, commercial intake, approval, and routing workflows alongside contract drafting and review. - The ability to translate technical or service requirements into contract-ready scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and change controls. - Sound judgment and independent ownership of complex or non-standard deals, including the ability to recommend a practical path forward and escalate the highest-risk issues. - Working knowledge of quote-to-cash and how SOW structure and pricing affect delivery, billing, revenue recognition, and the customer experience. - Clear, concise communication; excellent attention to detail; and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive deals while influencing partners without formal authority. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience as a contract manager supporting customer-facing professional services, consulting, implementation, or managed services. - Experience in cloud, enterprise SaaS, AI, or another complex technology environment. - Familiarity with fixed-fee, milestone-based, and time-and-materials services engagements. - Experience with Salesforce or CPQ, contract-lifecycle-management tools, e-signature platforms, and approval workflow systems. - A track record of improving SOW templates, commercial playbooks, or deal workflows. Key Responsibilities - Lead cross-functional execution for Industrial Compute infrastructure delivery programs from planning through operational handoff. - Build and maintain integrated program plans spanning engineering, construction, hardware deployment, networking, commissioning, and operations. - Identify schedule risks, dependency conflicts, and execution bottlenecks before they impact delivery. - Develop executive-level reporting mechanisms that communicate program health, milestones, risks, mitigations, and critical decisions. - Coordinate across Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, Hardware Operations, Capacity Delivery, Security, Finance, Supply Chain, and external infrastructure partners. - Drive operational readiness reviews before infrastructure enters production. - Build standardized delivery processes, governance models, and operating cadences that scale across multiple global infrastructure programs. - Manage cross-functional action tracking, decision logs, risk registers, and executive escalations. - Establish program metrics and KPIs that improve predictability, transparency, and execution quality. - Partner with leadership to continuously improve Industrial Compute delivery methodologies as our infrastructure portfolio grows. Qualifications - 8+ years leading complex technical programs or infrastructure delivery initiatives. - Experience managing large cross-functional programs involving multiple engineering organizations. - Strong understanding of program management methodologies, dependency management, and risk mitigation. - Experience working with executive stakeholders and communicating program status at multiple organizational levels. - Proven ability to drive execution across organizations without direct reporting authority. - Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, executive reviews, and operational mechanisms. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent high-priority programs. Preferred Skills - Experience delivering hyperscale data centers, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, networking infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing, or other large-scale technical programs. - Familiarity with hardware deployment, commissioning, infrastructure operations, or capacity delivery. - Experience working with external vendors, cloud providers, construction partners, or manufacturing organizations. - Experience scaling program management organizations or building operational frameworks from the ground up. - PMP, PgMP, Agile, or equivalent program management certifications are a plus but not required. Strategic Operations Lead, Marketing
About the Team OpenAI’s Marketing team helps translate complex technology, research, and product moments into work that can be understood by audiences around the world. The team brings together creative direction, design, writing, production, strategy, marketing, and regional partners to deliver campaigns, launches, films, events, brand systems, social, digital, OOH, experiential, and emerging formats across global markets. This role sits close to creative, production, Brand Marketing, Resource Management, agencies, and cross-functional partners. It is designed for someone who can turn approved strategic direction into a clear program path and keep that path moving—from goals and operating model through creative development, production, launch readiness, and closeout. The role will work closely with Resource Managers to anticipate resource needs, maintain accurate allocations, and identify gaps early enough to address them before they become delivery risks. About the Role As a Strategic Operations Lead, Marketing, you will help design and run the leadership operating model for OpenAI's Marketing organization. This is a senior role for someone who has built 0-1 operating systems in high-growth marketing environments and can move fluidly between strategy, planning, executive communication, and hands-on execution. We're looking for someone who can bring structure to ambiguity without adding unnecessary process: a strategic chief of staff who can stand up planning cycles, QBRs, headcount, prioritization, resourcing asks, investment governance rhythms, leadership cadences, while partnering with strategy & operations managers on budget forecasting, spend execution, variance analysis, and reporting. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration Monday through Wednesday and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: - Build and run the core Marketing planning system, including annual and half-year planning, QBRs, roadmap inputs, operating reviews, and executive-ready decision forums. - Own the leadership decision process for Marketing's headcount, PID, and resourcing asks, partnering with Finance, Recruiting, People, finance-ops owners, and functional leaders to make asks explicit, track decisions, and surface tradeoffs. - Set the leadership-level budget governance rhythm and use the full Marketing budget tracker as a decision tool, partnering with the finance-ops owner on forecasting, spend execution, variance analysis, and reporting. - Design and operate the Marketing leadership operating system, including staff agendas, follow-through, internal communications, decision logs, and cross-functional alignment mechanisms. - Lead strategic projects that help the Marketing organization scale from 0-1, including operating-model design, role clarity, launch operations, planning architecture, and executive communication. - Create crisp written narratives, recommendations, and operating materials that help senior leaders make decisions quickly and stay aligned across fast-moving workstreams. You might thrive in this role if you: - Have 14+ years of relevant experience across strategy and operations, business operations, Chief of Staff, marketing operations, or related leadership roles in a 0-1 or high-growth environments. - Bring top-tier management consulting experience or equivalent strategic operating experience, with strong structured problem solving and executive communication skills. - Have deep experience with planning cycles, QBRs, budget governance, headcount planning, operating cadences, agency/RFP workflows, and cross-functional program leadership, with clear judgment about when to own a system versus partner with specialist operators. - Can translate ambiguous priorities into clear plans, owners, decisions, and follow-through without creating unnecessary process. - Are comfortable working with senior leaders, Finance, Recruiting, People, Communications, Product Marketing, Growth, Creative, Media, and external agency partners. - Write clearly and operate with high judgment, especially when distilling complex inputs into concise updates, decision memos, and leadership communications. - Have strong analytical fluency and can use data, trackers, and operating artifacts to reveal tradeoffs, unblock decisions, and improve execution quality. Senior Vendor Manager - SMB Sales
About the Team The SMB Sales team is focused on scaling efficient, high-quality sales execution across a range of commercial motions, including Inbound, Outbound, API Sales, Channel, and SDR. We partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor partners to build scalable operating models that support growth while maintaining a high bar for performance and customer experience. About the Role As a Senior Vendor Manager, SMB Sales, you will own performance across our outsourced SMB Sales vendor network. This is not a traditional vendor management role. We’re looking for a performance-focused operator who can drive large-scale sales execution through vendor partners, rather than someone primarily focused on vendor relationship management. You will own regional and site-level performance across Tier 1 partners, with responsibility for sales performance, quality, forecasting, governance, operational readiness, and vendor leadership accountability across multiple sales motions. You’ll work at the intersection of Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor executives. You will help ensure the machine performs: surfacing issues early, creating accountability, and driving the operating rigor needed to deliver consistently strong outcomes at scale. In this role, you will: - Own regional and site-level performance across revenue, pipeline, conversion, productivity, quality, and other key sales metrics. - Inspect sales funnel health and diagnose whether performance gaps are driven by quality, execution, routing, enablement, staffing, or process issues. - Surface underperformance early, diagnose the underlying drivers, and drive urgency around corrective action. - Build clear corrective action plans with vendor leadership, establish measurable outcomes, and ensure strong follow-through. - Lead Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews with vendor partners, ensuring governance forums drive decisions, not just reporting. - Build and maintain scorecards that make sales performance, quality, operational health, and risk visible. - Hold vendor leadership accountable for frontline management quality, coaching effectiveness, staffing discipline, and execution rigor. - Own regional adoption of global playbooks, QA frameworks, and operating standards, using quality trends, call reviews, calibration outputs, and conversion analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. - Identify recurring operational failure modes and partner cross-functionally to solve systemic issues while maintaining a high bar for customer experience. - Own forecast quality, pipeline discipline, and risk inspection across assigned regions, building a consistent inspection cadence across motions and partners and pressure-testing vendor forecasts against activity, pipeline, and expected outcomes. - Translate complex operational and performance signals into clear business narratives and recommendations for senior leadership. - Monitor new-hire ramp, certification outcomes, productivity curves, and overall vendor readiness before launching new motions, regions, or major process changes. - Partner with Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Program Management to close readiness gaps and manage capacity against forecasted demand and business priorities. - Help redefine vendor operations for an AI-native sales environment, using automation, AI-enabled workflows, and scalable operating systems to improve seller productivity, forecasting accuracy, quality inspection, execution speed, decision-making, and performance visibility. You might thrive in this role if you: - Have 8+ years of experience in vendor management, sales operations, scaled sales execution, vendor leadership, or commercial operations. - Have direct experience managing outsourced sales or revenue-generating vendor operations. - Have experience working in software, SaaS, cloud, or other high-velocity commercial environments. - Have strong experience working with Tier 1 vendor partners. - Have proven experience owning sales performance across multiple teams, sites, regions, or vendors. - Have a strong understanding of sales funnel metrics, forecasting, conversion, productivity, quality, and operational governance. - Have experience building and running WBRs, QBRs, performance scorecards, and corrective action plans. - Bring strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders. Demo Studio Lead
About the Team The Demo Studio is responsible for translating OpenAI’s most advanced capabilities into tangible, high-impact experiences for customers. We design and deliver the demos, applications, and environments that define how executives understand what is possible with AI. Our work sits at the intersection of product, engineering, design, and go-to-market. We operate as a hybrid of product studio and live production team, building experiences that are both technically credible and narratively compelling. About the Role We’re looking for a Demo Studio Lead to own the end-to-end demo experience for OpenAI’s major events, webinars, and strategic programs. This is a highly cross-functional role focused on translating cutting-edge AI capabilities into clear, compelling, and production-ready experiences. You will own the full demo portfolio for an event or initiative, spanning mainstage moments, breakout experiences, booths, and supporting content. You’ll define the narrative, architect workflows, build high-fidelity demo environments, direct presenters, and ensure flawless execution in live environments. This is not a traditional sales engineering, presentation, or narrowly scoped design role — it requires a combination of product thinking, technical fluency, storytelling, systems design, and operational excellence. A key part of the role is presenting the work directly: delivering live demonstrations to executive, technical, and industry audiences across mainstage, breakout, customer, and recorded settings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with strong ownership, and is excited about shaping how the world experiences AI firsthand. In this role, you will: - Own the end-to-end demo experience across OpenAI-hosted summits, webinars, third-party industry events, and strategic executive demonstrations. - Translate approved product positioning, real OpenAI capabilities, and audience needs into compelling narratives, believable customer workflows, and clear takeaways. - Personally build high-fidelity demo environments, working applications, and agent-driven workflows using ChatGPT Work, Codex, approved data, and connected tools. - Personally present live demonstrations to executive, technical, and industry audiences, adapting the story and level of detail in real time. - Lead technical and live-production readiness, including presenter rehearsals, capability validation, known limitations, troubleshooting, and recovery plans. - Design cohesive experiences across keynotes, breakouts, demo theaters, booths, webinars, and attendee-facing activations. - Partner with Product, Research, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, GTM, and Events to align on technical truth, approved claims, audience needs, and execution. - Create reusable golden narratives, reference demonstrations, presenter guidance, approved assets, and audience-specific adaptations that extend the strongest work across programs. - Prioritize requests based on strategic audience value, customer benefit, product readiness, reuse potential, and available team capacity. You might thrive in this role if you have: - 8+ years in technical product marketing and/or technical success roles - A strong systems thinking and can design end-to-end workflows and experiences - Are technically fluent and comfortable working with APIs, AI systems, data, and modern development tools - Experience building demos, prototypes, or customer-facing applications - Strong storytelling instincts and can simplify complex technical concepts into compelling narratives - Are exceptional live presenters with executive presence, able to make complex technical work clear, credible, and compelling in both scripted and unscripted settings - Thrive in high-stakes environments such as launches, conferences, or live executive demos - Are highly detail-oriented and care deeply about craft, usability, and quality - Can operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments - Stay calm under pressure and can troubleshoot effectively in real time This role is not - A traditional sales engineering role focused on feature walkthroughs. - A pure design or engineering role with narrow scope. - A presentation-only role without ownership of the underlying system. - Limited to a single demo or deliverable. Why this role exists As AI systems become more capable, the gap between what is technically possible and what customers can intuitively understand is widening. This role exists to close that gap by turning capability into experience, and ensuring that experience holds up across an entire event, not just a single moment. YOU MIGHT THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE: - 12+ years of legal experience, primarily in commercial legal roles. - Deep, hands-on experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on colocation and data center agreements. - Experience with one or more of the following: first-party data center builds, construction and EPC agreements, power arrangements, raw-land development, build-to-suit projects, or leasebacks. - A track record leading sophisticated, high-value commercial infrastructure transactions. - Experience at a hyperscaler, cloud or compute provider, data center developer, major colocation company, or law firm practice focused on comparable commercial infrastructure matters. - A mix of in-house and top-tier law firm experience. - Excellent judgment and the ability to operate autonomously in a highly technical, fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills and an ability to translate complex legal issues into practical, business-aligned guidance. - A JD and license or qualification to practice in California.
